The U-S Congressman from Round Rock says the Texas Department of Transportation’s statement that road funding cuts are because of the Iraqi War is completely false.
Congressman John Carter is disputing what the state road department’s recent explanations about federal road funding cuts due to congress re-routing money to the war in Iraq, something he says it is impossible and that state transportation Deputy Director Steve Simmons now says that was a mistake.
